Pre-College Prep Workshop

The Pre-College Prep Workshop is geared towards high school students looking to gain expertise in navigating the college application process. Admissions counselors from several of Marylands private college and universities will be on hand to lead workshops in: resume/portfolio building, essay writing, interviewing, and making the most out of a campus visit. Institutions attending include Capitol College, Maryland Institute College of Art, McDaniel College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Notre Dame of Maryland University, St. John’s College, and Stevenson University.

8:30am Check-in and continental breakfast- Underwood Lobby, Gibson Center for the Arts
9:00am Welcome- Tawes Theater, Gibson Center for the Arts
9:30am Session 1- Classrooms, Daly Hall
10:15am Session 2- Classrooms, Daly Hall
11:00am College fair- Gallery, Casey Academic Center
12:00pm Conclusion
