2025 Tim Maloney Scholarship
To be considered for the Tim Maloney Scholarships students must submit either a portfolio, essay, or video submission which showcases a demonstrated interest or accomplishment in any theatrical discipline, including performance, design, technical production, management, dramaturgy, playwriting, directing, or a combination of any.
The Tim Maloney Scholarship is awarded to students interested in theatre. Incoming students that are awarded the scholarship will keep the scholarship all four years while attending Washington College, if they elect to become and remain a Theatre major. The student must continue to meet the requirements to continue to receive the scholarship.

To be considered for the Timothy Maloney Scholarship, you must submit one of the following:
Submissions may demonstrate interest or accomplishment in any theatrical discipline, including performance, design, technical production, management, dramaturgy, playwriting, directing, or any combination thereof.
Portfolio
containing 6-8 images max
Each image should be captioned with the project title and each project should have a brief explanation of 50-75 words max
A Video
of no more than 3 minutes
Along with your video, please include a brief written explanation (300 words max)
Essay
(300-400 words)
